- Rotowire Ingram will get the starting nod on the road against Anaheim on Friday, Patrick Brown of the Coyotes’ official site reports.Ingram has lost four of his last six outings, posting a 1-4-0 record and 3.68 GAA to go with one shutout. The 26-year-old backstop has been splitting starts with Karel Vejmelka, a trend that should continue into 2024. On the year, Ingram is sporting a 12-7-0 record with three shutouts, both of which are personal bests for the youngster.
- Coyotes’ Logan Cooley: Provides assist in comeback win Rotowire Cooley notched an assist, two shots on goal and two hits in Wednesday’s 5-4 overtime win over the Avalanche.Cooley has three helpers over his last five games, and he’s added eight hits in that span. The rookie center hasn’t displayed an overly physical game for much of the season, but it appears he’s tapping into that skill now. For the year, Cooley has three goals, 15 assists, 53 shots on net, 13 hits, 13 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating through 34 appearances. He’ll likely continue to stay in a bottom-six role until his offense improves or an injury opens a spot in the top six.
- Coyotes’ Nick Bjugstad: Adds assist Wednesday Rotowire Bjugstad recorded an assist and went plus-2 in Wednesday’s 5-4 overtime win over the Avalanche. Bjugstad set up Lawson Crouse’s second-period tally, which sparked the Coyotes’ offense. The 31-year-old Bjugstad has gone 10 games without a goal, but he’s managed a decent five assists, 18 shots on net and 19 hits in that span. Overall, the second-line center has 21 points, 59 shots on net, 47 hits, 24 blocked shots, 28 PIM and a plus-6 rating through 34 outings this season.
