The veteran Stecher is unlikely to put up big scoring numbers while logging bottom-four minutes. He’s at five points, 38 shots on net, 36 hits, 53 blocked shots, 18 PIM and a plus-8 rating through 39 appearances this season.
- Coyotes’ Michael Kesselring: Assists in consecutive outings Rotowire Kesselring notched an assist, two hits and a plus-2 rating in Saturday’s 6-0 win over the Wild.Kesselring has a helper in each of the last two games following a four-game slump that also saw him sit out once as a healthy scratch. The defenseman continues to look NHL-ready with 11 points, 29 shots on net, 32 hits, 17 blocked shots and a plus-2 rating through 24 outings. Kesselring can be expected to see sheltered minutes on the third pairing.
- Coyotes’ Lawson Crouse: Earns power-play helper Rotowire Crouse logged a power-play assist and two PIM in Saturday’s 6-0 win over the Wild.Crouse set up a Nick Bjugstad goal that made it 3-0 late in the first period. Over his last 10 games, Crouse has racked up four goals and four assists. He likely can’t sustain that pace, but he’s been more than solid as a second-liner this season. The 26-year-old winger is up to 27 points, 93 shots on net, 70 hits, 23 PIM and a plus-2 rating through 40 appearances.
- Coyotes’ Nick Schmaltz: Registers helper Saturday Rotowire Schmaltz posted an assist and five shots on goal in Saturday’s 6-0 win over the Wild.Schmaltz has steadied his offense with three goals and two assists over his last seven games. The 27-year-old continues to see top-line minutes, but his appeal in fantasy is limited to formats that focus on offense. For the season, he has 27 points (13 on the power play), 86 shots on net and a minus-11 rating through 41 contests.
