- Dallas is set to sign a contract with the Cardinals, Jordan Schultz of BleacherReport.com reports.Dallas will stay in the NFC West after a four-year start to his career in Seattle. The 25-year-old is better known for his work as a return man than in the backfield and likely will be working to hold down return duties in Arizona.
- Cardinals’ Krys Barnes: Notches new deal with Arizona Barnes and the Cardinals agreed on a one-year contract Monday, Johnny Venerables of PHNX Cardinals reports.Barnes joined the Cardinals ahead of the 2023 campaign, recording 55 tackles and six pass deflections (including an interception) over 16 games. The linebacker will now have a chance to build off of that performance in another campaign with Arizona.
- Cardinals’ Mack Wilson: Set to sign with Arizona Wilson and the Cardinals have agreed to a three-year, $12.75 million deal that could go as high as $15 million, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.The linebacker has played more snaps on special teams than defense in each of the last three seasons. Wilson logged 960 defensive snaps and 82 tackles as a rookie with the Browns in 2019, but he has yet to come close to those numbers since. As a member of the Patriots the last two seasons, Wilson recorded 37 and 36 tackles, respectively.
- Cardinals’ Bilal Nichols: Linking up with Cardinals Arizona plans to sign Nichols to a three-year, $21 million contract, Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com reports.Nichols figures to provide some interior run-stopping ability for a Cardinals defense that ranked last against the run in 2024. Over the past four seasons with Chicago and Las Vegas, he hasn’t missed a game.
- Cardinals’ Sean Murphy-Bunting: Moving westRotowire MAR 11, 2024Murphy-Bunting is slated to sign with the Cardinals on Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.After four years in Tampa Bay, Murphy-Bunting spent 2023 in Tennessee, where he appeared in 14 games and recorded 57 tackles (42 solo), eight passes defended (including two interceptions) and two forced fumbles. He’ll be expected to help bolster a secondary that gave up a 102.9 quarterback rating last season, which was second-worst in the league. He’ll likely be starting opposite cornerback Garrett Williams, who was selected in the third round of the 2023 Draft.
- Cardinals’ Trystan Colon: Staying in the desertRotowire MAR 11, 2024Colon is re-signing with the Cardinals on Monday, Jess Root of USA Today reports.Colon will get a one-year deal worth $1.75 million to return for a second season in Arizona after spending the first three years of his career in Baltimore. The 25-year-old started four games last season while appearing in 14. He should have the opportunity to earn a regular starting role in 2024.
