76ers Notes

  • 76ers’ Kelly Oubre: Iffy for Monday vs. Suns

Oubre (hand) is listed as questionable for Monday’s game against the Suns.

Oubre is in jeopardy of missing his fourth consecutive outing due to a sprained left hand. If the 29-year-old remains sidelined, Ricky Council and Reggie Jackson are candidates for an uptick in playing time, especially if Kyle Lowry (hip) is ruled out.

  • 76ers’ Kyle Lowry: Questionable for Monday

Lowry (hip) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Suns.

Lowry continues to manage lingering hip soreness. He’s appeared in 12 of Philly’s last 15 games, averaging 15.3 minutes during that stretch.

  • 76ers’ Joel Embiid: Iffy for Monday

Embiid (foot/nose) is questionable for Monday’s game against the Suns.

After missing the first half of a back-to-back set on New Year’s Day, Embiid appeared in two straight games and notched at least 28 points and 12 rebounds in both contests. Monday’s contest isn’t part of a back-to-back set, so it’s safe to assume the superstar big man will be available against Phoenix, despite the questionable tag.

  • 76ers’ Caleb Martin: Efficient 17 in win

Martin dropped 17 points (7-8 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 1-3 FT) to go with four boards, three assists, a steal and a block in 25 minutes of play during Saturday’s 123-94 win over the Nets.

Martin bounced back after a weak showing Thursday, putting together a solid night on both ends as a starter. It’s been an up-and-down season for the veteran wing, as he’s struggled to maintain a consistent role in head coach Nick Nurse’s offense alongside Joel Embiid, Tyrese Maxey and Paul George. His next chance to take the court will come Monday against the Suns.
