Suns Notes

  • Suns’ Bradley Beal: Questionable for Friday

Beal (calf) has been listed as questionable for Friday’s game against the Nuggets.

Beal played only 15 minutes in Tuesday’s game against the Clippers due to left calf soreness, but he might be able to play Friday in Denver. The veteran guard is averaging 17.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 3.6 assists and 1.1 steals per game while shooting 50.2 percent from the floor and 40.5 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Suns’ Cody Martin: Out vs. Denver

Martin (sports hernia) won’t play Friday against the Nuggets, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.

Martin will miss his 20th straight game while recovering from a sports hernia. His next chance to return will arrive Sunday in Dallas.

  • Suns’ Bradley Beal: Goes through practice Thursday

Beal (calf) fully participated in Thursday’s practice, Gerald Bourguet of GoPHNX.com reports.

Beal was forced to exit Tuesday’s game versus the Clippers early due to left calf soreness. While Beal’s participation in practice is a good sign of his availability against Denver on Friday, fantasy managers should look out for an official injury report to clarify his status.

  • Suns’ Grayson Allen: Scores eight points in win

Allen ended Tuesday’s 119-117 win over the Clippers with eight points (3-3 FG, 2-2 3Pt), three rebounds, two assists and two steals in 24 minutes.

Allen finished perfect from the field and made a strong impact off the bench along with Royce O’Neale and Collin Gillespie. Bradley Beal left this game after 15 minutes with an ankle injury, and Bol Bol played just nine minutes as a starter. If Beal ends up missing time, Allen could become a popular pickup in standard formats.
