Suns Notes

  • Suns’ Mason Plumlee: Won’t play against Chicago

Plumlee is out for Wednesday’s game versus the Bulls due to a left quadriceps strain.

Plumlee will miss his first game since Nov. 15 due to a quadriceps injury. In the veteran big man’s absence, Nick Richards and Oso Ighodaro could receive increased playing time. Plumlee’s next chance to suit up is Friday’s matchup with Cleveland.

  • Suns’ Grayson Allen: Another absence coming

Allen (foot) won’t play in Wednesday’s game versus the Bulls.

Allen’s absence streak will extend to five games Wednesday due to a sprained left foot. His next chance to suit up is Friday’s matchup with Cleveland.

  • Suns’ TyTy Washington: Plays six minutes Monday

Washington finished Monday’s 129-89 victory over Toronto with three points (1-2 FG, 1-2 3Pt) and three assists over six minutes.

Washington was used sparingly again Monday, playing no more than six minutes for the 16th straight game, 10 of which he has failed to leave the bench. His appearance here was simply due to the fact the Suns were in complete control, ultimately winning the game by 40 points.

  • Suns’ Damion Lee: Rare appearance in win

Lee provided two points (1-1 FG) and one assist across six minutes during Monday’s 129-89 victory over the Raptors.

Lee was back in the rotation for just the second time in the past eight games, making an appearance during garbage time. To this point, Lee has suited up on just 18 occasions all season, averaging 3.3 points in 6.0 minutes per contest.
