Steel recorded an assist, two hits, two blocked shots and a plus-2 rating in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

Steel took a shot that got redirected in by Tyler Seguin late in the third period to stretch the Stars‘ lead to 5-3. After a quiet first round, Steel had four points over six games in the second round versus the Jets. He’s now at one goal, six assists, seven shots on net, 22 hits, 10 blocked shots, 14 PIM and a plus-1 rating over 14 playoff contests. His versatility and defensive work will keep him in the lineup, even if he’s stuck in a bottom-six role most of the time.

Marchment notched a power-play assist, three shots on goal, four hits and two PIM in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

Marchment has a helper in each of the last two games, a sign his offense may be coming around. Both of those assists have come with the man advantage. Marchment is up to five points, 24 shots on net, 51 hits, 10 blocked shots, 16 PIM and an even plus-minus rating over 14 appearances. He can do a little more in depth scoring, but he’ll also provide some sandpaper while occupying a middle-six role.

Hintz logged a power-play assist and two hits in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

Hintz snapped a three-game skid with the helper to set up Matt Duchene’s go-ahead goal in the third period. The 28-year-old Hintz has accumulated 11 points (five on the power play), 33 shots on net, 12 hits, 14 blocked shots and a plus-1 rating across 14 playoff outings. He remains in a top-line role, and his budding chemistry with Mikko Rantanen will likely be a primary source of offense for the Stars during the Western Conference Finals.

Robertson logged an assist in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

Robertson has been limited to two assists, eight shots on net, 10 hits, five blocked shots and a minus-4 rating over seven playoff outings. He missed the first round due to a knee injury, and he’s been shuffled around the lineup as the Stars look to keep productive trios together. While Robertson would normally be a top-line option, he’s currently taking middle-six minutes and time on the second power-play unit while other players have more momentum.

Rantanen was held off the scoresheet in the last two games of the second round versus the Jets. He’s had few quiet moments this postseason, playing a huge role with five multi-point efforts, including a pair of hat tricks. He’s at 20 points (seven on the power play), 42 shots on net, 17 blocked shots, 11 hits and a plus-2 rating over 14 playoff contests. Rantanen continues to lead the postseason in points, one ahead of Edmonton’s duo of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, and it’s a battle between those superstars that could define this series.

Lindell didn’t find the scoresheet in the second round, going minus-1 with eight shots on net and 19 blocked shots over six games versus the Jets. He put a bow on the Stars‘ comeback effort to open the Western Conference Finals with a win. The 30-year-old defenseman has two points, 16 shots, 36 blocks, 12 hits and a plus-2 rating over 14 playoff outings while filling a shutdown role in the Stars’ top four.

Duchene scored a power-play goal and went minus-2 in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over the Oilers in Game 1.

The third-period tally ended a 17-game goal drought for Duchene, dating back to April 10. His goal Wednesday also stood as the game-winner. The center has earned all six of his points this postseason on the power play while adding 18 shots on net, 11 hits, 12 blocked shots and a minus-11 rating over 14 appearances. Duchene was a point-per-game player in the regular season, so the Stars will want Wednesday’s effort to spark his offense in the rest of the Western Conference Finals.
