Suns Summer League Notes and recaps

  • Suns’ Koby Brea: Scores 15 in SL loss

Brea racked up 15 points (6-14 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 1-1 FT), six rebounds, two assists and one steal across 27 minutes during Sunday’s Summer League 98-80 loss to the Hawks.

Brea has scored 15 or more points in two straight Summer League games in Las Vegas. The Kentucky product followed up an incredibly efficient shooting performance against the Wizards on Friday with another strong outing, as he has been consistent with his scoring and has become more of a force on the glass.

  • Suns’ Oso Ighodaro: Fills up stat sheet in loss

Ighodaro finished with 18 points (8-12 FG, 2-3 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks across 29 minutes during Sunday’s Summer League 98-80 loss to the Hawks.

Ighodaro continues to play well during the Summer League in Las Vegas, as he came one rebound short of recording a second straight double-double. His motivation level is undoubtedly high, considering he’s trying to prove he deserves a roster spot in a crowded frontcourt in Phoenix or on another squad in the NBA.

  • Suns’ Ryan Dunn: Won’t play Sunday

Dunn (rest) has been ruled out for Sunday’s Summer League game against the Hawks, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Dunn won’t get back on the floor for Phoenix until the second game of a back-to-back set in the Summer League on Monday against Sacramento. The 21-year-old played 74 regular-season games for the Suns during his 2024-25 rookie campaign, where he averaged 6.9 points and 3.6 rebounds across 19.1 minutes per game, shooting 43 percent from the floor and 31.1 percent from beyond the arc.

  • Suns’ Rasheer Fleming: Out Sunday

Fleming (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s Summer League game against the Hawks, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

The No. 31 overall pick in the 2025 NBA Draft, Fleming has yet to make his Summer League debut due to a right knee injury. His next opportunity to feature will come Monday against the Kings.

  • Suns’ Khaman Maluach: Resting Sunday

Maluach (rest) won’t play in Sunday’s Summer League game against the Hawks, Duane Rankin of The Arizona Republic reports.

Maluach will sit out the first day of the club’s back-to-back set, and his next chance to play will come Monday against the Kings. The big man appeared in Friday’s win over Washington, posting 14 points (5-13 FG, 1-6 3Pt, 3-4 FT), five rebounds, two blocks, one steal and one assist across 21 minutes
