Suns’ Devin Booker: Plays supporting role Sunday
Booker logged 28 total minutes Sunday across Team Stars’ three games at All-Star weekend in Los Angeles, finishing with 12 points (5-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt), nine rebounds and eight assists.
Booker started in all three games for the Stars, recording no more than five points in any contest while taking a back seat to backcourt mate and MVP Anthony Edwards (32 points on 13-for-22 shooting). Prior to All-Star weekend, Booker had missed the Suns‘ most recent game Wednesday versus the Thunder due to right ankle injury management, but he should be good to go for Phoenix’s first contest of the second half Thursday in San Antonio.

Suns’ Devin Booker: Good to go for All-Star Game
Booker (ankle) will play for Team Stars on Sunday in the NBA’s All-Star weekend event in Los Angeles.
Booker missed Phoenix’s loss to the Thunder on Wednesday — the second leg of a back-to-back set — due to right ankle injury management. However, the five-time All-Star isn’t expected to face any limitations during Sunday’s exhibition. Through 43 appearances with the Suns this season, Booker has averaged 25.2 points, 6.3 assists and 4.0 rebounds in 33.9 minutes per game.

Suns’ Haywood Highsmith: Inks pact with Phoenix
Highsmith agreed to a multi-year deal with the Suns on Saturday, Shams Charania of ESPN reports.
Highsmith underwent surgery to repair a meniscal tear in his right knee in August and was traded from Miami to Brooklyn shortly thereafter. While he never saw the court for the Nets before being waived Feb. 5, the 29-year-old forward is considered healthy and was taking part in 5-on-5 drills before being let go, per Michael Scotto of USA Today. In the 2024-25 campaign with the Heat, Highsmith averaged 6.5 points and 3.4 rebounds across 24.6 minutes per game in 74 regular-season appearances (42 starts). His first chance to make his Suns debut will come Thursday against the Spurs.
