Suns report and notes

Huntley recorded 18 points (8-12 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 1-1 FT), 15 rebounds, two blocks and one assist in 32 minutes Tuesday in the G League Valley Suns‘ 117-108 win over the Stockton Kings.

Huntley has yet to make his NBA debut since signing a two-way deal with Phoenix earlier this month, but he continues to thrive in the G League. Through 41 appearances with Valley, the undrafted rookie out of Appalachian State is averaging 15.3 points, 7.9 rebounds, 1.1 assists, 1.1 blocks and 0.7 steals in 26.7 minutes and is shooting 63.2 percent from the field.

Allen (knee) is questionable for Thursday’s game in San Antonio.

Allen is in danger of missing his second straight game, but we’ll have a better idea on his status based on his activity level at shootaround. If Allen does need to spend another game on the sidelines, Ryan Dunn would have a chance to remain in the rotation.

O’Neale is questionable for Thursday’s game against the Spurs due to left knee soreness.

The veteran forward is at risk of missing his first game of the season Thursday. Rasheer Fleming and Haywood Highsmith stand out as the most likely choices to join the starting lineup at power forward in the event that O’Neale is ruled out.

Fleming posted nine points (3-7 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 1-2 FT), one rebound and one steal in 15 minutes during Tuesday’s 116-104 loss to the Timberwolves.

Fleming should be able to hang onto a stable reserve role for the time being, but that could change once Dillon Brooks (hand) is presumably cleared to return to the floor in the coming weeks. Over his past five outings, Fleming has averaged 5.0 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 blocks and 1.0 three-pointers in 18.5 minutes per game while shooting 50.0 percent from downtown.
