Cardinals’ James Conner: Doesn’t play vs. Las Vegas
Conner (foot) did not play in Thursday’s 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders.
It’s not much of a surprise, considering Conner is still working his way back from foot and ankle surgery that he underwent in late September. Neither Conner nor Benson played in Thursday’s exhibition contest, though No. 3 overall pick Jeremiyah Love (ankle) saw a fair amount of work against the Raiders, turning 14 touches into 72 yards, while Tyler Allgeier added four carries for 19 yards. Conner, Love and Allgeier figure to all be in the mix for backfield snaps, though who is listed as the RB1 by the start of the regular season is up in the air.

Cardinals’ Chase Bisontis: Suffers torn MCL
Bisontis (knee) tore his MCL during Thursday night’s preseason game against the Raiders, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
The rookie second-rounder was potentially ready to usurp the starting right guard role from Isaiah Adams. Bisontis will have surgery next week and may miss his entire rookie season as he recovers from the injury. While there is a chance for the 22-year-old to return before the end of the season, the Cardinals‘ offensive line will take a hit for most of 2026 at the minimum.

Cardinals’ Trey McBride: Limited to one snap
McBride played one snap in Thursday’s 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders.
QB Jacoby Brissett, WR Marvin Harrison and the five starting offensive linemen played all 11 snaps on Arizona’s opening drive. It was only McBride who got superstar treatment, as WR Michael Wilson and RB Jeremiyah Love also took most of the snaps on the lone series for Arizona’s first-team offense. McBride has far more competition for the ball this year, but he’ll still be prioritized in the passing game and remains a clear favorite to lead the team in targets.
