Cardinals’ Isaiah Adams: Ruled out due to knee injury
Adams (knee) has been ruled out for Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.
Adams has been working through a knee injury since the end of training camp, and the issue was severe enough for him to miss all three practice sessions during Week 1 prep. Per Bo Brack of GoPHNX.com, Jon Gaines will start at right guard in Adams’ absence.

Cardinals’ Garrett Williams: Won’t suit up against Chargers
Williams (Achilles) is listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Williams was limited at practice all week as he continues to recover from the torn Achilles he suffered late last season, and he’ll have to wait at least one more week to make his 2026 debut. In his stead, Kei’Trel Clark could see a small uptick in snaps.

Cardinals’ Dadrion Taylor-Demerson: Won’t play against Chargers
Taylor-Demerson (ribs) is listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Chargers.
Taylor-Demerson missed practice Thursday and Friday after logging a limited session Wednesday, and he’ll now have to spend Sunday on the sidelines. In his absence, 2025 seventh-rounder Kitan Crawford might get a couple more chances to rotate in on defense.

Cardinals’ Jeremiyah Love: Questionable for Week 1
Love (ankle) is listed as questionable for Sunday’s game at the Chargers, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.
Love has been tending to a high-ankle sprain that he suffered preseason Week 1, and nearly one month later, he was able to log three consecutive limited practices and set himself up for his pro debut. Ultimately, the Cardinals may not make a call on Love’s status until roughly 90 minutes before Sunday’s 4:25 p.m. ET kickoff, which was corroborated by coach Mike LaFleur, who told Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.com on Friday that Love will be a game-time decision. In the end, an active Love on Sunday would share the backfield with Tyler Allgeier.
