Diamondbacks’ Ketel Marte: Stays hot in win
Marte went 3-for-3 with a walk, a home run and two RBI in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over San Francisco.

Diamondbacks’ Paul Sewald: Picks up 11th save
Sewald struck out one in a hitless and scoreless ninth inning to earn the save in Wednesday’s 6-3 win over San Francisco.
Sewald pitched for the first time in the three-game series versus the Giants and got his 11th save in 12 chances this year. The right-hander needed only 13 pitches to earn the save and has now converted two straight after blowing his first save of the season a week ago in Texas. The clean showing lowers his ERA to 4.15 with a 20:6 K:BB.

Diamondbacks’ Merrill Kelly: Earns third straight win
Kelly (4-3) allowed three runs on eight hits with four strikeouts and no walks to earn the win Wednesday over the Giants.
Kelly collected his third straight quality start and victory to help the Diamondbacks complete the series sweep. The right-hander allowed a home run to Casey Schmitt in the first inning and didn’t retire the side in order until the sixth, but he was otherwise able to limit San Francisco to single tallies in the second and fourth frames. After a horrid start to the year resulted in a 9.95 ERA through his first four outings, the 37-year-old has allowed just five runs with a 13:3 K:BB in 22 innings over his last three starts. Kelly’s next appearance lines up to be a road rematch with the Giants next week.
