ESPN once again commemorated the year in sports with The ESPYS, an awards show that annually celebrates achievements, athletes and moments.
The 2026 ESPYS took place Wednesday night at New York City’s David H. Koch Theater with a pre-show red carpet to match.
Among those in attendance were members of the gold medal-winning U.S. women’s hockey team, who got an assist from rapper Flavor Flav to join the party as nominees for Best Team.
But they couldn’t beat out the New York Knicks for the Best Team hardware. The Knicks secured the trophy to add to the Larry O’Brien.
Former Cleveland Brown and now-Los Angeles Ram Myles Garrett won the Best Record-Breaking Performance award for breaking the NFL’s single-season sack record. He received the award and a kiss from his girlfriend and Olympic gold medal snowboarder Chloe Kim.
As for the red carpet, there were plenty of hot looks ahead of the show.
