Brissett completed all five of his passes for 44 yards and one touchdown during Thursday’s 27-14 preseason win in Las Vegas.

In his first game action since agreeing to a reworked contract in late July, Brissett connected with WR Michael Wilson (twice for 23 yards), first-round rookie RB Jeremiyah Love (once for two yards), WR Kendrick Bourne (one time for 12 yards) and WR Marvin Harrison (a seven-yard TD). Meanwhile, standout TE Trey McBride logged just one play before hitting the sidelines. This was one exhibition contest with Brissett working with the first-team offense, but the offensive scheme under new coach Mike LaFleur appears to be running on all cylinders roughly one month before the regular season kicks off.

Allgeier rushed four times for 19 yards and wasn’t targeted in the Cardinals‘ 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders on Thursday.

Allgeier and rookie third overall pick Jeremiyah Love were the two Cardinals running backs to log touches on the team’s opening possession. Allgeier’s first opportunity came after Love had seen two rush attempts and recorded a reception, but the former proceeded to rattle off consecutive seven-yard runs on his first pair of carries. Allgeier also had a five-yard rush on the Cardinals’ second drive, and his team debut was an encouraging one overall. The veteran’s exact regular-season role in a crowded backfield remains to be determined, but it’s worth noting Allgeier has ample experience complementing a star back after playing alongside Bijan Robinson in Atlanta for the last three seasons.

Harrison brought in his only target for seven yards and a touchdown and also drew a 20-yard pass interference penalty in the Cardinals‘ 27-14 preseason win over the Raiders on Thursday.

The embattled 2024 first-round pick drew the penalty on the Cardinals’ third play from scrimmage, and he capped off that opening drive with his seven-yard touchdown grab. Harrison endured an injury-shortened season in 2025 where he suited up for only 12 of 17 regular-season games, but he appears back to full health ahead of what could be a pivotal season for his future with the franchise.

Coach Mike LaFleur said Thursday that Bisontis‘ left knee injury appears to be serious, Theo Mackie of The Arizona Republic reports.

“Not good,” LaFleur said following Thursday’s preseason opener against the Raiders. Bisontis had to be helped off the field in the second half and took a cart to the locker room. The second-round rookie was expected to push Isaiah Adams for the starting gig at right guard at some point this season.
